At SalesNote, your privacy and the security of your business data are our highest priority. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Data: When you create an account or manage your shop settings, we collect your email, password (encrypted), and shop profile information.
- Transaction Data: To provide the core functionality of creating sales notes and receipts, we store the data you input. This includes items, totals, VAT, uploaded signatures, and attached customer details.
- Device & Session Data: For your security, we track hardware and active sessions to support our device/session management feature.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information collected is strictly used to operate the SalesNote app and provide value to your business. We use it to:
- Generate PDF and image receipts for preview and sharing.
- Populate your business dashboard and calculate analytics.
- Provide insights on fast-moving and slow-moving items.
- Maintain your customer record keeping.
- Send important notifications, account alerts, and verification codes.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your business data, customer records, or sales history to third parties. Data is only shared externally when you deliberately use the "Share receipts" function to send a document to a customer via your phone's native sharing options.
4. Security & Data Retention
Your data is secured using industry-standard encryption protocols. You have complete control over your logged-in devices through the session management settings. We retain your sales history and account data as long as your account is active to ensure you can return to past sales when needed.
